| The paper presents results of the studies on the susceptibility of FML’s based on aluminium alloy with carbon fibre reinforced composite to corrosion. The corrosion resistance experiments were carried out by accelerated electrochemical studies using the potentiodynamic method. The microstructurai and corrosion analysis for fibre metal laminates reinforced carbon fibres demonstrated the complexity of degradation proces and its mechanisms in laminate structure. The conducted examinations can indicate influence of carbon fibres on the increase of susceptibility to corrosion. |
