| The oscillating system with a shape memory materia! element excited by a periodłc force was considered. Apart from the displacement and velocity, this nonlinear system equations include the temperature and state history. Instead of the standard Lyapunov exponent treatment, the statistical 0-1 test based on the asymptotic properties of a Brownian motion chain was successively applied to reveal the chaotic natiure. In this test we calculated the control parameter K which was approaching asymptotically to O or 1 for regular and chaotic motions, respectively. The presented approach is independent of the integration procedure as we defined the characteristic sampling distance between the points forming the time series. |
