In the first part of the paper presents a theoretical discussion on the importance of knowledge in the innovation process, and the importance of clusters to improve the flow of knowledge at the regional level. The second part of the article contains the analysis of the results of surveys carried out in enterprises of the province of Lublin - Polish least developed region, ie the region where there is a strong need to stimulate knowledge transfer to small and medium-sized enterprises. Analyzing the collected research results the author is looking for answer the main question of the article: whether belonging to the formal structure of the cluster affects the flow of knowledge to the company, especially in its innovative activities. |
