| The paper presents the methods of increasing the efficiency of plasticating the polymer in the plasticating system with special attention paid to the constructional methods. Different kinds of screws and barrels were discussed, including a passive and active grooved section. Own original solutions of an acfive grooved section together with selected research results were presented. The latest concept of kinematic activation of an extruder barrel was described. |
