This paper proposes use the suspension of oscillator with attached pendulum consist of magnetorheological damper (MRD) together with shape memory alloys spring (SMA) mounted in the suspension. These smarts elements can be used to tuning and control of the pendulum absorber. The detailed bifurcation analysis and, more precisely, the tracking of bifurcation points in parameter space is done using continuation method. In the context of nonlinear absorber tuning, these points represent relevant information, because they express fundamental modifications in the system dynamics. Additionally, the results of bifurcation analysis can be applied to control of the system. |
