Human Computer Interaction (HCI) is emerging as an engineering discipline, therefore more often become a part of curriculum for both Bachelor and Master’s Degree in computer science. The paper briefly review of selected literature about HCI and its teaching methods. Among others, HCI teaching methods based on case studies or patterns could be found. Moreover, in the paper the author’s project-based approach of teaching software usability engineering is described in details and discussed. Finally, author presents the students’ assessment of their overall class experience as well as each of class activities in three aspects: its usefulness in professional life, level of gained knowledge and acquired experience |
