| In the first part of the article the authors conduct considerations on the theoretical aspects of essence of special economic zones, while the second part of the paper presents the results of the analysis of investment companies operating in the Polish economic zones. The article analyzed the distribution of investment between the zones. The authors also evaluated the distribution of investments by industries and they identified the leading investors in zones. In the paper the authors formulated the following hypothesis: Special Economic Zones are an attractive place for industrial investment thus contributing to the formation of the modern industrial centers. The object of the paper is to evaluate the effects of the special economic zones in the field of attracting of investments. |
