Currently there are many tools, both virtual and practical, available to help learn programming and electronics that increase availability for those who have not dealt with this subjects before - this includes retraining, broadening horizons and primary learning. The following article is an result of research to show whether Lego MindStorms and the LabView platform can be used as learning tools for programming and electronics. The authors wanted to see if known theoretical basis would allow participants to complete the task, and to acquire new experimental knowledge through discoveries. The article contains the results of didactic research run on different age groups - kids of age 5-10 and students of age 20-30 and people with different technical knowledge. Differences in the approaches to task completion and gaining knowledge about previously unknown technology have been demonstrated. |
