| The paper presents current practices in energy retrofitting and application of dispersed sources of renewable energy in Poland. Drawing on experience of few projects in the region that concern the existing and new-built housing stock, the authors investigate into possibilities of improving Energy performance of a particular housing estate of multifamily blocks located in Lublin, south-eastern Poland. The authors put forward a selection of technical measures worth consideration and check their viability against current municipal and state policies, as well as against financial potential and attitudes of prospective investors – owners of flats. |
