The paper presents comparison between measures of artefacts identification in the electroencefalography (EEG) signal. The dedicated measures were applied in the task of biological artefact identification. The examined person was asked to perform the following activities: eyes blinking, jaw moving, eyeball moving, counting, eyes opened, eyes closed, hands squeezing. The case study described in the paper presents results of comparison of various artefacts measures such as variance, correlation coefficient etc. The conducted research has shown that no method can be called universal and the most suitable method should be selected for every type of biological artefacts.
