The article is focused on an evaluation of behaviours of Polish students and their approach to modern and traditional sources of knowledge in the context of dynamic technological changes which concern different aspects of everyday functioning. Among others, those changes affect gaining knowledge about new possibilities of meeting the needs and consumption of new products. It is therefore important to notice that information and communication technologies determine the way the young people behave. In the article, research approach leaning both against preliminary research of the writing and empirical examinations is presented. The surveys were carried out among students of the Faculty of Management, Lublin University of Technology. The results concern the attitudes of respondents towards methods of gaining information of new products as well as show their willingness to share own opinions and knowledge via different websites, portals and community services, blogs as well as discussion forums. Reflections in the article are being kept around the opinion that the conditions of continuous digitization of everyday reality create a powerful tool of communication that enables fast and unlimited access to different sources of knowledge. |
