| On the territory of Mezhyrich Ostrogski town, an unusual landmark of architectural art was preserved, recorded formerly in the old directory as an “oven” («hearth») from XVII c. A meaningful analysis of old descriptions of this town allows to define more precisely its functional purpose as a part of the princely residence of the Krakow Castellan Janusz Ostrogski, built in the first quarter of the 17th c. |
