| The article concerns how to reduce noise generated by the machine set.: the synchronous motor and d.c. machine. This machine set operates in the electrical machines laboratory of Lublin Technical University. The noise emission was very strong and it was a heavy burden on the human body. It was necessary to take action to reduce the noise emission. It was decided to rebuild the ventilation system of both machines. As a result of these actions was dramatically improving of the cooling of the synchronous motor and significant reduction of noise generated by the machine set The average noise level was lowered from a few to several dB. |
