| Application of the magnetorheological (MR) dampers to control of chaos or rotation solutions of a mechanical system with a pendulum is presented in this paper. The systems without and with applied control method are studied and compared. The proposed control method can limit the motion of the pendulum to the regular or irregular rotation. Effectiveness of this method is tested for selected parameters of a real laboratory rig. |
