| Devices based on ultrasonic defectoscopy allow to evaluate the properties of the products of polymers, even during their manufacturing process in the processing line. For this purpose, most are integrated measurement systems consist of a large number of ultrasonic probes connected in a complex units. This paper presents a method for measuring the wall thickness of the polyethylene extrudate depending on the coupling agents, pipe’s diameter and indicates the possibility to reduced number of the ultrasonic detectors. |
