This paper presents the results of numerical calculations of rolling extrusion process of a hollowed hub. Simulations were made by means of software Deform 3D in three dimensional state of strain. Distributions of effective stress and effective strain in the rolled extruded product were analyzed. A special attention was paid to shape deviations which depend on the process kinematic parameters. Obtaining small values of shape deviations (triangulation) and appropriate distributions of walls thickness in longitudinal sections of the formed product are connected with the further research works of experimental character |
