| This paper presents results obtained for vertically placed cylinders of circular cross-section during wind tunnel tests. All models are considered as aeroelastc ones and can represent real chimneys. Accelerations in two perpendicular directions in horizontal plane (along and across wind tunnel) were masured at the tops of 27 cylinders. An attempt to research along-wind as well as across wind responses with respect to different approaching flows was taken up. |
