| This paper presents problems connected with the machining of selected materials used in the aviation industry. The presented main group of materials used in aviation structures are mainly: titanium alloys, composites and aluminum alloys. Basic problems connected with cutting of titanium alloys and composite fibers are presented. The article also discusses a selected group of tools used in the machining of ,,aviation” materials, their most significant design features and intended use. |
