| This paper describes selected technological and organisational aspects of the modernisation of a production line of an analysed footwear factory. The article discusses the characteristics of the analysed footwear production proces, production stations, machines and equipment layout at the production facility in quesnon. The analysis led to certain obsenations in terms of potential improvements of the production proces, which would lead to optimisation of footwear production time and productivity, connected with the economic effect. The aforementioned provided the base for proposed production line modernisation project, taking into account the seasonal character of footwear production, new production stations layout as well as comparative analysis of transport time between stations in autumn-winter and summer production. |
