Motion capture systems integrated with biomechanical platforms can be used to record human gait. Usually recorded data needs further post-processing, whose first step is selection of the most appropriate interpolation methods. This paper presents three types of interpolation methods: Catmull-Rom Spline, modified Catmull-Rom Spline and Blended Parabolas used in the context of resampling data. The aim of the research presented in this paper is to select the best interpolation method with respect to accuracy. The quality of the results is assessed. All tests are performed on real captured ground reaction forces data. |
