The paper deals with an influence of damage, such as delamination, on dynamical characteristics of vibrating beams. The analyses are lead in parallel to some more detailed microscopic studies on delaminated composites. The main goal of the performed Finite Element Analysis (FEA) was to find out the general nature of damage influence on the structures’ properties without considering the study of damage micromechanics. Some geometrical parameters of the damage location and size were considered. The numerical simulations were performed in the Abaqus/CAE software environment. An extension of the research to other types of structures is also taken into account. |
