This paper presents a new method to detect of damage during milling process of composite material. The method based on analysis of cutting time signals by recurrence plots and recurrence quantification techniques. The recurrence plots method, is an advanced technique of nonlinear data analysis, was used for detection of qualitative changes in the system dynamic behaviour by visualization of diagram recurrence. The analysis based for milling tests both undamaged and damaged materials. The obtained results show, that recurrence quantifications can be used as damage indicator. |
