Making a decision about the scope of repair works made by an estate administrator requires both technical (evaluation of technical condition, selection of materials and the methods of work) and economic (cost calculation, real estate appraisal) expertise, as well as understanding of needs and preferences of users. The choice of scope of works and the evaluation of acceptable variants should be made on the basis of many criteria, with consideration to the impact of works on the property value and economical justification of the decisions. The paper presents a model facilitating the decision on scope of repairs. It is based on the knowledge of experts in particular fields, expressed usually in the form of fuzzy evaluations and linguistic scales. This model can be applied to the allocation of limited repair funds being at the disposal of property administrators, such as housing associations. |
