| Construction projects are affected by a variety of risk factor, and they often fail to achieve their goals in therm of time, cost and quality. The frequency and impact of risk depend on project-specific, contractor-specyfic and location-specific conditions. Identifying critical sourses of risk is crucial to minimize disturbance in project development and assure success, so risk should be analised and assessed during all the stages of a construction project. The authors argue that applying fuzzy AHP - a technique invented to deal with imprecise and uncertain information obtained from number of sources - facilitates aggregation of expert opinion on project risk and finding a compromise on weights and scores of risk sources. The paper presents risk analysis and assessment of a example construction projects to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed method. |
