In this article, the author presented the results of his study conducted as part of the National Science Centre research project No. 2011/03/D/HS4/04311, encompassing the analysis of the customers of the large format shopping centres sector in Lublin in 2013–2016. The period selected for the research was characterised by large changes in the competitive structure of the analysed sector. New subjects were added to retail and service centres which had existed for over a dozen years, bringing with them to the market not only new material and financial potential, but also innovative potential in the form of new standards in terms of market offer, organisational and logistics solutions as well as marketing activities. The selected research area and also the specific, turbulent character of the market space included in the study allowed the author to identify the main research problem of the article as a diagnosis of the course of cu-stomer learning processes (perceived as observed changes in the process of shaping their sati-sfaction and loyalty) in the perspective of dynamic quantitative and qualitative market changes. |
