The aim of the experimental research is the preliminary evaluation of the cutting capabilities of the Fraisa Sphero-CVD tools intended for the machining of sintered carbide. The main purpose of the work is preliminary analysis of selected qualitative relationships between the technological conditions of machining and the geometrical state of the surface, cutting forces, form and shape of the chip, as well as temperature during the machining of T10MG cemented carbide. The assessment of the feed effect, cutting depth and parameter determining the engagement of the tool wear during cutting into the above-mentioned functional relations was made. The tests were carried out on a DMU65MonoBlock numerically controlled machine tool with the use of a Kistler 4-component piezoelectric dynamometer. The tests were carried out in the established technological conditions. The machining process was preceded by verification of the hardness of the sample material. The measurement of the hardness of the T10MG cemented carbide used was carried out using the Vickers method. The obtained surfaces after processing were analyzed using the Alicona Infinite Focus measurement system. The form and shape of the chip as well as the tool blade wear were also evaluated. Discussion of tests and obtained results were comment and presented on graphs and tables. |
