Over the years, the requirements imposed by the regulations regarding the design ofnetwork systems have changed. As a result, there are currently electrical installations with various network systems in Poland. Neighboring of miscellaneous distribution networks still remains troublesome and causes the use of ambiguous, often erroneous solutions. The paper aims to analyze selected network systems and the transition of one system to another based on the latest harmonized standards developed by the European standardization bodies. In particular, the PN-HD 60364 –Low-voltage electrical installations standard will be analyzed. There will be made an attemptto identify solutions that will guarantee the highest effectiveness and reliability of protection against electric shock. A computer simulation will also be performed to present problems that occur when connecting electrical installations with different network systems. The voltage waveforms obtained during the simulation will be the basis for the evaluation of the level of protection against electric shock of the discussed solutions |
