The article identifies levels and ranges of electrical fields generated by telecommunication systems and equipment. The infrastructure of mobile telephony technology and wireless Internet already surrounds us everywhere. So, we use the intentionally spreading electromagnetic wave as a medium of information, but at the same time this electromagnetic wave affects people and nature. Using the ESM-140, it was possible to determine the distribution of intensity values in many public places and in the route of travel by various means of transport. The values obtained were compared with the limit values.
