Tribological tests are an important link in acquiring knowledge about polymer composites that form the basis for the construction of sliding machine elements. The requirements for sliding materials are increasing. Friction generated during work, leads to significant energy losses, and hence the generation of large amounts of heat and intensification of wear processes. Among all polymer composites, the PA6-G composite with mineral oil had the best results. Composites based on PTFE, despite good results in research, are placed in a further position due to for example economic reasons. Fillers such as: bronze, graphite or aluminum and others increase, for example, the temperature range of polymer usage and significantly change the conditions in the friction center. The most preferred choice of the composite used for the thin sliding coatings of the tested is undoubtedly PA6-G with the addition of oil. Knowledge of tribological properties of selected composite materials allows for the creation of appropriate conditions for kinematic cooperation of frictional center in operating conditions. |
