This study aims at preliminary evaluation of vibration produced in the milling of sintered carbide with Fraisa’s Sphero-CVD tool. The main objective of the work is to analyze selected qualitative and quantitative relationships between machining conditions and vibration parameters in the machining of sintered carbide grade T10MG. The effects of feed rate, depth of cut and width of cut on the above-mentioned functional relationships are examined. Experimental tests are carried out on a DMU65MonoBlock numerically controlled machine tool with the use of 3-axis accelerometers from PCB PIEZOELECTRONICS and the LMS SCADAS Mobile SCM 05 system from Siemens. The tests are performed in the steady-state machining conditions. Prior to milling, hardness of the tested material is determined. Hardness measurements of sintered carbide grade T10MG are made by the Vickers method. Results are analyzed with the LMS Test. Lab Signature Acquisition measurement system. Experimental results are discussed and presented in plots and tables. |
