Amplitudes of vibration and energy harvesting efficiency are strongly dependent on excitation parameters and other external conditions of electro-mechanical structures, e.g. geometrically limitations and electric load [1]. In this work the system of a vertical beam is presented. Its dynamic was both, numerically and experimentally analysed for an energy harvesting efficiency [2]. The analysed system consists of a flexible composite beam with a tip mass and Macro-Fiber Composite (MFC) element [3]. This structure was excited parametrically in vertical direction at twice natural frequency of the beam. Moreover, the mechanical response of the beam was limited by frame. Due to displacement of the beam limitations, the impact effects appears and it caused disturbances in the beam dynamics. The influence of excitation amplitude and frequency, and also MFC loads to the system dynamic have been tested. The voltage on the MFC was recorded for energy harvesting estimation. The main point was the analysis of the energy harvesting output at different external excitation conditions including the impact effect due to applied mechanical stoppers. |
