A study was conducted to examine the appearance of a sudden power increase and suggest the method of their detection in real time ripping process. It was demonstrated that it was essential to investigate the embedding properties to apply the standard methods for nonlinear time series. The phase space was reconstructed by supplementing missing coordinates with time delayed ones. It was also essential to divide the whole time series into equal successive intervals for more detailed investigations by the method of recurrence plots (RP). The whole time series was divided into succeeding intervals composed of 300 measured points to conduct the investigations. It was observed that more detailed study of the equal successive intervals by the method of RP led to classification of the dynamics of a investigated system. |
