The work is dedicated to the segmentation problem of human nasal passages using Cone Beam Computed Tomography. The provision of flight safety is one of the most pressing problems in the aircraft operation. An analysis of the current operation of air transport in the world proves that the human factor is one of the main causes of incidents in aviation. The human factor is understood as the involvement of the flight crew in the occurrence of abnormal situations. As is known, in accordance with the established certification standards, the flight crew undergoes a bulky medical study of their health, including assessment of their psychophysiological state. However, as the results of recent studies prove, it is precisely the inadequate psychophysiological training of the flight crew that adversely affects the level of flight safety (the impact of the human factor) and is often the cause of air crashes. Therefore, at the present stage of aviation development, the problem of increasing the level of psychophysiological training of the aircraft flight crew is an urgent problem, conditioning the necessary level of flight safety. It should be noted that the flight crew belongs to the category of professions operating in extreme conditions. The paper is dedicated to the complex assessment of the crew’s psychophysiological state under extreme working conditions (being represented at a conceptual level). The results of the assessment of the psychophysiological state of the aircraft flight crew are presented as applied results. The assessment parameters are determined as a result of the research of the characterisation of the information-energy field of the cerebral cortex limbic system. Original electronics were developed to measure the evaluation parameters of the state in question. The computer technique of processing the results of experimental research as well as determination of the standards of the psychophysiological state of flight composition is given. The proposed method for assessing the psychophysiological state is a universal one and can be applied to any operators of extreme activities. |
