The paper considers the modelling of the freezing process in three-layer skin tissue on the base of Pennes’ bioheat transfer model, taking into account the dual-phase lag model. It is shown that the phase lags in the process of the translation from one state into another in skin tissues have great impact on the formation of space profiles of heat propagation at every moment of time. For modelling of the step-like behaviour of physical parameters of the model, caused by the phase transitions in each layer of skin tissue, the continuous approximation of Heaviside function was used, whereas for modelling of specific heat change by means of the latent heat continuous approximation of Dirac the delta function was used. The smoothing parameters of these functions influence the resulting characteristics of the models selected on the basis of the principles of physical adequacy and the correspondence of modelling results to the experimental data. |
