| The intelligent electric systems for urban traffic control have been presented in the present paper. The road traffic detector and its role in traffic control system have also been charac-terized. Furthermore the intelligent transport system and its role in urban communication as well as SCATS (Sydney Coordinated Adaptive Traffic System) have been discussed. |
