Because of its strong bactericidal, fungicidal and viruscidal properties, ozonization is very effective in treating primary decay lesion, especially primary root of the tooth caries. However, ozone may have a negative influence on mechanical properties of fillings. We have studied polymer materials ageing effect resulting from the ozone test. The aim of the study was to evaluate microhardness changes of selected light cured composites as index structural changes in composite, cause influence ozone. The micro- and nano-hybrid restoration composite materials were studied. The microhardness was performed by Vickers method according to EN ISO 6507-1 standards. The ozonization process wars carried out in 20s, 40s, 60s, 120s time with the use of HealOzone generator. The results were statistically analyzed by the Student's t-test with Statistica 8.
