Ozone generation is a power‐consuming process. However, the energy required thermodynamically for ozone synthesis is typically less than 20% of the actual energy consumption, and the remainder of the energy is transformed into heat and emitted to the environment. A model of the phenomena occurring during ozone electrosynthesis at equilibrium is presented. The main processes of ozone electrosynthesis and concurrent thermodynamical flow were investigated. The coupling between them and the influence of thermal states of the industrial ozonizers on the process efficiency are analyzed. An equation describing the temperature distribution in the ozonizer gap is derived. |
