| The interaction between nitrogen dioxide and aqueous carbamide on a fibrous ion exchanger in a gas-purifying filtration apparatus at 20 +/- 5 degrees C is considered. An empirical equation describing dynamic nitrogen dioxide absorption by the reactive filter material is suggested. The process is applicable to the treatment of ventilation emissions containing nitrogen dioxide. |
