| Fossil fuels are perceived as unsustainable source of energy, mainly due to large emissions of carbon dioxide, the most important gas contributing to the greenhouse effect. Electricity production is one of the most important problems for the energy sector, but there is another important factor – transport. Agriculture plays important role in energy sector. Strong support for renewables means that probably sooner or later they will become the main source of energy on the Earth. From the perspective of sustainable development not only ensuring security for the growing demand for energy is a challenge. The energy of the Universe generated as a result of the Big Bang is one theoretical option. One of the most important challenges connected with wind energy is the height of the turbine. Wind speed increases with the height, so the higher is the turbine the more energy may be produced. |
