| During operation of a vehicle, its engine is affected by numerous forcing factors. The relationships of changes in these parameters over time form a set that is referred to as the conditions of operation of an automotive engine. The conditions in which a given car is operated have a direct effect on the parameters of start-up of its engine; during start-up, many negative processes take place. For those reasons, ontrack tests of vehicles are carried out under conditions of actual use to evaluate the start-up parameters of their engines. This paper presents results of statistical analyses of start-up conditions of engines obtained during on-track tests of delivery vans. |
