| Success and long term survival of family business are complicated occurrences. It is result of specific of family business, which from the one site have chain of unique resources which are developing their competitiveness, from another site family business has features causing chain of problems which are impeding succeed and long term survival. Examination of factors affecting on achieving success and long term survival of family business is one of the most important research area in literature. This paper is attempting to extract the most important groups of factors which have influence on success and long term survival of family business by different research perspectives. The paper starts from outline of problems of measuring success of the family business and from comparison essence of success and the long term survival of family business. Next main reasons of failures of family business were analyzed. Major part of this paper concentrates on isolation most important factors of success and longevity of companies. It was made by perspectives of view based on Resource-Based View, The Three-Circle Model and on Sustainability Family Business. Every form theses perspectives emphasizes on different aspects of success and long term survival of company but these perspectives are complementary. These perspectives have become the base to create proposition of factors model which can be develop and detailed in the future. |
