| In this paper energy-technical-economic analysis of the public building for case the elementary school located in Lublin was presented. Energy balances were obtained by the use of the computer programme PURMO OZC 4.0. The annual energy demand for space heating of the analyzed school was determined as 473188 kW·h per year (259.1 kW·h/m2 per year, 83.6 kW·h/m3 per year). Three alternative thermo-modernization works for the building’s envelope with the purpose of energy-consumption decrease were presented. Total costs of modernizations of this building were estimated. The most profitable solution of renovation of this school was chosen (the variant No. 3). Use of a thermal insulation, 17 centimeters thick for the external walls and a thermal insulation 14 centimeters thick for the ceiling under the loft without heating, caused the reduction of the annual energy demand in the analyzed school about 51.72% (228452 kW·h/year, 125.1 kW·h/m2·y ear, 40.4 kW·h/m3·y ear). |
