This work proves that correlation between an electron accelerating voltage and a beam intensity has a disadvantageous effect on the measurement results reproducibility erformed with the mass spectrometers and significantly extends total measurement time. The research results in a postulate of making electron accelerating voltage and ionizing beam intensity independent of each other. The conditions that are necessary and sufficient for the implementation of the postulate have been formuleted. A novels the biasing system of an electron source with a hot cathode have is presented. It has been experimentally proved that the biasing system with a hot cathode have is presented. It has been experimentally proved that the biasing system with the implemented decorrelation postulate when applied to measurement instruments makes possible to enhance the reproducibility of the measurements two-folds and to reduce the measurement time by four-folds. |
