This chapter shows the evolution of management in the emerging Economy 4.0 in Poland. The main issue presented herein is the role of self-management in Teal organizations, which is understood as a part of management intensification in the economy of automation and artificial intelligence. This paper also looks into the importance of agility in Economy 4.0. Additionally, the themes presented herein deal with the role and importance of inter-organizational collaboration and soft factors of an organization’s management, the impact of innovation on the creation of Teal organizations, and the increase in the use of IT tools. The chapter ends with a conclusion that organizing is a phenomenon that is much broader than one organization and may manifest itself in inter-organizational networks or clusters and contains recommendations for entrepreneurs and scientists on building and analyzing such networks in the context of Economy 4.0. |
