Food quality management is nowadays an indispensable element that focuses all activities in the food industry. Each company operating in the food industry that supplies products to the market is obliged to implement and use systems that ensure the required quality of manufactured products. The aim of the study was to analyze the advisability of implementing quality management systems in the light of the opinions of employees from the food industry. To carry out the research, the original questionnaire that consisted of 31 questions was used. The questions included in the survey, single and multiple choice, focused on collecting information about issues such as the concept of food safety, the benefits resulting of implementing quality management systems, quality management systems operating in the enterprise, training in their scope and assessing the need to implement these systems and their impact on safety of produced food in the opinion of employees. The survey was primarily attended by the company’s production employees and employees from the management staff, as well as from administrative and office department. The answers to the questions were presented in the form of graphs, with some of them being analyzed in terms of the position held by the respondents or their seniority in the company. By conducting a thorough and in-depth analysis of the research results, it was possible to verify the hypotheses that were formulated at the beginning of the work, as well as to draw conclusions. |
