In the chapter, the dependence for calculating the contact pressures when drawing down an axisymmetric workpiece without a blank flange collet has been obtained. The solution is based on the assumptions of the Theory of Momentless Shells of Revolution. The adequacy of the mathematical model is confirmed by experimental data for a narrow interval of forging blanks. The experiments were carried out on a specially designed tooling with the measurement of load cell deformation by the method of strain gauge. All of the equipment used has passed metrological control. |
