The main idea of the analytical–experimental methodology of the study of complex processes in elastic bodies is developed on the case of torsional and bending vibrations, taking into account the displacement along the body of a continuous stream of a homogeneous medium. Its main point is the use of a priori information about one form of oscillation with the simultaneous use of it in the mathematical model of others. The methodology makes it possible to simplify the mathematical model of the dynamics of complex dynamic processes in the body, while using it for quantitative or qualitative methods of analysis allows to not only evaluate the mutual influence of the components of the process but also, in many cases predict such complex processes as external and internal resonances in advance. It is shown that it is especially effective in use for cases where the components of the displacement of an elastic body due to some forms of oscillation are significantly less than those of others.
