Project ERAMIS was created to transfer experiences of European Union (EU) universities in Master`s degree education in Computer Science area for students who have higher education in over areas. The additional aim of the ERAMIS project was to set up a network of Master`s degree "Informatics as a Second Copmetence" (ISC) among four Russian universities, there Kazakh universities, two Kyrgyz universities with the support of five EU universities (from France, Germany, Spain, Poland and Finland). The history, ideas of the project, main activities and its results, as well as some problems that arose during the project, are presented in this paper.
