The business environment is undergoing rapid changes today, mainly due to the impact of the pandemic. Consequently, the solutions that were effective in the past cannot be directly applied to the current reality. Research indicates that organizations expect leaders to have the ability to innovate; however, they often continue to support the adoption of conventional approaches and mindsets. Enhancing the skills of leaders and assessing leadership in a manner that enables them to navigate uncertainty, take responsibility for managing swift changes, and engage with both external and internal stakeholders are crucial for organizations. Being able to adapt to change, agility, and the willingness of staff members to acquire new professional experiences all constitute qualities particularly vital for future organizations. By making more pertinent decisions and working together, inclusive leaders’ teams are more likely to produce better results. This is due to the fact that an organization’s growth and strategy primarily rest with its leaders. Consequently, a noticeable discrepancy exists between the actions organizations should take to support twenty-first century leaders and the current state of affairs. |
