The paper presents the results of a study investigating the sound pressure level and acoustic intensity measurement of the four-axis CNC milling machine during idle and trial run conducted with three spindle speeds n=160,4000 and 8000 RPM. A gauge was used to obtain experimental data for noise level estimation. The estimation was made based on the statistical analysis of the obtained results. Each noise level value was determined by 5 repetitions by measurement gauge. Also, the mean value and standard devation of the test results were determined. The obtained measurement results were campared with each other. It was found that the results were below the permissible noise exposure level for an 8-hour daily working time or working week, that is - 80 dB. The highest noise levels were recorded at the measuring stations located at the back of the machine tool. |
